MIZON Original Skin Energy Peptide 500 Serum: Review

I recently finished this MIZON Peptide 500 serum. Details per MIZON & Beauty Bay:

Peptide 45% contained - highly concentrated solution Essential Factor Solution

Controls elastin and collagen, essential for skin tightening, eliminates active oxygen which promotes aging to provide moisturized and elastic skin texture. EFS(essential factor solution) absorbed into skin quickly. Highly concentrated peptide promotes the growth of collagen and elastin and protects skin from free radical oxygen, firming skin. Also, enriched hyaluronic acid maintains skin well hydrated.

A line smoothing skin serum developed specifically for maturing skin. Formulated to deliver a youthful boost to ageing skin, the Peptide 500 is an essential addition to your skincare routine. Developed with a host of complexion perfecting ingredients, this ultra-weightless serum absorbs into the skin reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and decreasing elasticity for an increasingly youthful finish.
  • Acetyl Hexpeptide-8 - Boosts skin renewal and hydration.
  • Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 - Stimulates collagen to increase firmness.
The serum is a clear liquid with a water like texture. It has no discernible scent. It comes packaged in a fat green glass bottle with a dropper style applicator. This serum absorbs effortlessly and quickly into the skin. It's not greasy at all so I had no breakouts nor issues from using.

It has hyaluronic acid so it's lightly hydrating, but it's not a heavy hydrating serum. It would be appropriate for any skin type. You can use it as a light hydrator for oily skin, or layer a heavy cream over for dry skin. I liked it. It wasn't a wonder worker, meaning it didn't end all my anti-aging issues. It was easy to layer and I did get an overall plumper look to my skin while using it. Oddly when you look this up, the price ranges from $50 to under $20. So do some research before you buy it online. I like The Ordinary's "Buffet" serum better for the price.
