Peter Thomas Roth Acne-Clear Invisible Dots: Review

I started with the Skyn Iceland Blemish Dots and fell in love with them. I figured I'd branch out and try the Peter Thomas Roth Acne-Clear Invisible Dots. You get 6 sheets of 12 patches for $30. The size of the dots are both large and small. You place these patches on blemishes at night to help shrink their size and reduce the inflammation. I found this type of product requires patience. One patch will help, but it really takes a few nights to get a better result. It also depends what stage your blemish is at as well as how deep it is. The earlier the stage and deeper the blemish, the more patches you need. If you treat a blemish at first sign you can reduce the severity of the blemish, as well as how long it lasts.

They don't irritate my skin at all nor dry it out. They do not burn at all, even on a blemish you just extracted. I put I can go through about two sheets a month depending my monthly hormonal breakouts are. That's when I use these the most. I'll go through one sheet easy that week. They're not cheap but I do find they work better than a liquid you apply. These keep the Salicylic Acid on longer for a stronger effect. I do like the Skyn Iceland ones better. For some reason they seemed a touch more effective. Overall, there's not that much difference between the brands. I highly recommend any of the blemish patches.

What it is: These innovative, clear acne patches by Peter Thomas Roth help eliminate blemishes, covering the entire affected area to minimize the spread of bacteria.
Who it's for: Suitable for all skin types.
What it does: Packaged in two different sizes, each patch contains salicylic acid, which works overnight and throughout the day to effectively reduce and heal blemishes. Tea tree oil, a natural astringent, clarifies and refreshes the skin. Hyaluronic acid, a natural humectant, hydrates to prevent excess drying and irritation. Because the treatment is contained to the affected area only, the product will not rub off or cause any unnecessary dryness or irritation to the surrounding skin.
How to use: Before application, clean and dry the affected area. Peel back an appropriately sized patch for the individual blemish. Gently press the adhesive side over the blemish, covering completely. Press the edges to secure and contain the affected area. Allow to remain in place throughout the day or night to permit healing. Do not apply makeup or any other topical product over the patch.
