Omorovicza Copper Peel: Review

9:40:00 PM

I love a good facial peel, and I love Omorovicza. The Copper Peel is one of my favorite quick yet effective peels.

Per Omorovicza: This foaming two-phase peel, combining a blue copper paste and a lactic acid activator, polishes and smoothes complexion and visibly reduces pore size for a brighter, more even skin tone.

Key Benefits:
  • Detoxify skin and regulate sebum with copper gluconate.
  • Refine and smooth the micro-relief of the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with deeply cleansing sodium bicarbonate and lactic acid (of vegetal, not animal origin).
  • Leave skin firmer, more supple and younger-looking as Hydro Mineral Transference™ delivers minerals deep into the skin.

Step 1; apply generous amount of Copper Peel paste to dry skin on the face and neck (avoid contact with eyes and lips).

Step 2; apply generous amount of Copper Peel activator onto the Copper Peel paste; gently massage the resulting white lather, using circular motions, for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

L to R: Activator, Paste:

The paste is an oil based paste. The scrub is mild and not irritating or harsh. It's not really a scrub style exfoliator, it's too mild. It's a blue green thick paste with a sage smell. It has sage oil in it. Rub the paste in circles on your face then add the clear lactic acid gel over and you get this white lather.

There's no harsh stinging it's not a really strong peel. It's moderate with a tingle. The whole process takes about five minutes or less. The tube has way more than the recommended 2-3 uses per tube. I get 5 or so uses out of a tube. It smells great, is quick and easy, yet it's also effective. The set comes in 16 tubes or 8 tubes. 16 tubes is $160, 8 tubes is $85.

Lactic acid is a natural exfoliant. It's not as harsh as glycolic acid. Combined with the oil based paste you get a non drying moderate yet effective peel. I would recommend checking it out one day.
